Engaging the community in transforming maternal care

The Sustainable Development Goals are ambitious, with Goal 3 striving for health and well-being, including a focus on reducing deaths of pregnant women and their babies. While Mozambique has made some progress in recent years, the maternal mortality rate remains concerningly high at 289 deaths per 100,000 live births.
